What should I get my mom for her birthday?

Here's what I've been up to:

-I visited Hiroshima. Lots of character in the city, sort of reminiscent of Boston.
-I attended my school's Sports Day.
-I went to a soccer tournament in Awajishima, a huge inland island with a beautiful soccer training facility.
-I ate dinner in Kobe. Brazilian beef. All you can eat and drink for $35. Utterly amazing.
-Kobe's a really cool city, too.

Women in Japan:
Found.

I had a small, cute, English-fluent girlfriend named Ai for all of my first month here. I speak in the past tense because she left Japan to go to the States for grad school.

I'm now back to being single.

Thresh was the original pro gamer. The first. The only. The guy who won a Ferrari in 1997. He was a monster. When I was telepathically playing Goldeneye in junior high, he was coining "Thresh ESP" for the mind games he played with his opponents. The guy was a legend, but quickly fell from gaming god status.

Turns out he's quite the businessman now.

My apologies for the lack of updates. I even have lots of spare time here. What writing I have been doing, however, is over on Konnichiwhoa. I've mostly talked about my life experience here, such as what food I eat, my car, why TV sucks, and my beating at the hands of a barber in an attempt to get a haircut.
